About Us

On Site Generation is a unique company. It has been set up by renewable energy experts to help people who care about the environment find the best ways of generating energy in their homes, businesses and communities. We are passionate about reducing energy consumption, caring for the environment and supporting and advising their clients.


On Site Generation delivers a full, integrated approach to reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. We will help you make the right system choices and can provide full project management, from applying for planning permission and grant support, through to installation, commissioning and future maintenance.

Richard Witney, Director

Richard Witney

Richard Witney has a background in Environmental Management & Technology with over 10 years experience in the renewable energy, environmental management and energy efficiency. He has hands on project management, design and installation skills in wind turbines, solar photovoltaics systems and heat pumps. Richard is a Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and is a Chartered Environmentalist.

Jason Leon, Director

Jason Leon

Jason has six years experience of working in energy efficiency and renewables and over 10 years experience in Environmental Consultancy. He has been involved in building assessment, feasibility, system design and specification for many community projects across all technologies, providing technical input, planning advice and support through fundraising to installation.

Naomi Miskin, Energy Consultant.

Naomi Miskin

Naomi has over eight years experience in environmental consultancy and project management and has recently completed an MSc in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies at the Centre for Alternative Technology. She is involved with carrying out heat loss assessments and renewable energy feasibility studies, as well as assisting with quotations and installation work.

Naomi also has an interest in sustainable building materials and renovation to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings. She has recently completed thesis research into the embodied energy of insulation materials.

She is an associate member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment and is working towards her full member status.
